SERVICES
Caregiver Education
We offer 1-on-1 family sessions to provide individualized support on understanding their loved one's diagnosis and how to navigate the local mental healthcare system. These sessions are educational and can link families to local resources.
Our sessions consist of meeting with a family or caregiver 2 times within 30 days. We provide you with learning material, information, and resources that can help you navigate the local mental healthcare system to aid in the recovery for your loved one. We are person-centered, so the information and support we provide to you is specific to your needs.
Resiliency Building
We offer a session with families and caregivers that is focused on building resilience and developing a plan for supporting their loved one.
The development of your plan is based on the resiliency theory. It utilizes a specialized family/caregiver support plan that we help you complete so it is individualized to you and your family, and you can adjust it at any time.
Workshops
We provide free community workshops on mental health education to community members who are interested in understanding more about severe mental illnesses and how to support those individuals with SMI diagnoses.
The Resilient Foundations Project loves to collaborate with other mental healthcare organizations in the community because we truly believe that it takes a village. If you are interested in collaborating, please feel free to email us to learn more.
